Starting in 2015, Apple began to try to use C-port laptops, but now the new MacBook Pro uses HMDI, SD card slot and MagSafe 3 to USB-C cable. What is the difference from the past MagSafe?
What is MagSafe?
MagSafe is a magnetic power connector developed for Macbook laptop. MagSafe was launched with MacBook Pro on January 10, 2006.
♕ The connector is fixed by a magnet, so if someone trips over the power cord, it will be pulled out of the socket without damaging the connector or the power socket.
♕ When the MagSafe connector is close enough to the power port of the MacBook, it will automatically "suck" up. You don't even have to move your head to find the location of the connector .
